Richard Smith - Conference Chairman
|
Richard brings a wealth
of experience in energy storage technologies, corporate
level management and financial solutions for
entrepreneurs. Richard promoted the
organization of industry conferences and the creation of
Kilofarad International, the industry’s premier
association promoting cooperation on standards, testing
and shipping regulations. As a division president
and CTO, he propelled Maxwell Technologies to global
leadership in the EDLC technology. More recently,
Richard has assisted large organizations and small
companies as they developed strategic plans to provide
everything from advanced nano-materials to integrated
system solutions. Richard has over 40 years of
experience in the aerospace, electronics,
ultracapacitor, and alternative energy industries, and
has held a variety of senior management positions in
engineering, program management, sales, and strategic
business development.
